Hartwick Pines State Park

Hartwick Pines State Park is a 9,300 acre natural landmark just north of Grayling, home to one of Michigan’s last old growth white pine forests. Towering trees over 300 years old line peaceful trails, including a paved loop through the forest. The park also features a historic logging museum, river views, biking and ski trails, and quiet spaces that capture the scale, stillness, and history of northern Michigan.
